I only have one spare set of scales and I don’t know what they were off of.
All three of my sets of scales fit HDMC and BC. If somebody wants to send me a Behemother I will check scale fitment, take verification photos and keep the knife.

I’m in the middle of working a trade, and the trader says his ebonite scales don’t fit his BC perfectly. I do remember the MC and BC scales being interchangeable, so aim going to swap them out this weekend. I have the very first run of the MCs that came out years ago and I believe the scales were slightly tweaked since then.

LOL .. thanks! That’s my suburbia redneck fix after moving from acreage in NE Ohio to a postage stamp in a central Florida HOA 😁

It’s part of our back patio inside the screen room, the pool is just for flaming marshmallows and dogs!

Tonight we cooked out with 1/4 pound all beef hot dogs, “hobo” pie iron ham and cheese & smores 👍🏼

The only ones they don’t fit perfectly are some of the prototypes.
The ones I mentioned above are interchangeable (MC, HDMC, BC and Behemother).
So if scales don’t interchange perfectly for your trade partner he probably has a prototype of one of the above knives.

Here’s a pic of the BC scales that don’t quite fit the BC perfectly. Not sure if production scales on a proto blade. Or proto scales on a production BC blade.

Are those the only scales available with that trade option? They aren't even close to fitting. Personally, that would bug me to death unless I could be certain of finding a properly fitting set of scales for it.

Not trying to stomp all over your trade but I'm puzzled why those scales were put on there in the first place.
