Excellent selection! Out of curiosity - could you give me more info on the top two TCs, the clip and the spear? I have the Cranberry Sawcut TC on my list but not the other two.
I thought all the Wood Voters would at least vote for Brown. It seems to me that plain bone might be the reason brown loses out in the end.
You're right that there's no perfect way to do this; and Charlie is - once again - managing it like a pro. The polls you mentioned are coming, I believe. Don't get me wrong, it would be great to know when we pick a color that if green wins, we're getting pickle green, and if red wins we're getting bright as- er...I mean bright red with pink edges, etc...but, logistically, that would be a mess. This way, we get a color, then pick which version of that color. "On paper" it makes sense. (As much sense as it can, when it's saw cut instead of smooth, anywayI know its too late and charlie has done a amazing and stressful job even in the organizing of these polls. Tough to appease the masses and all. But…. Kinda possibly woulda coulda been nice to have polls for what the red option were to be and also a poll for what the brown option would be. If black cherry won the red option, maybe less people would vote for the red option. Same can be said for brown. At the same time maybe less would vote in the red poll if they were adamant in their brown choice. After red wins, theyd be upset they skipped that red poll. There is no winning on organizing these polls for sure. And i over think everything… kindly disregard this…
Imagine how much fun it would be to have a thread dedicated to everyone showing off what colors they've dyed their forum knives.I'm surprised by all the dislike of white bone... I've had this since it was released in 2016 and even carried and used it a fair amount.... still looks white to me....
For everyone who doesn't know how to dye a bone handle.... Use Fiebings Leather Dye.... soak knife until desired saturation is achieved and then rinse with rubbing alcohol until it runs clear. Doesn't cause any oxidation and doesn't require heat.... just wear gloves first.
Here's the Blood Red
Want Black Cherry? Do a soak in red dye and then a second soak in black.....
VOTE WHITE BONE!
Maybe I missed it, but which category covers hemlock green bone? It seems like blood red is gaining steam and I might be persuaded to change my mind.

I wouldn’t call plain undyed bone safe or classy, unless you like yellowed.... ”Yeah Baby!”
All kidding aside,Mass1632 , @Kiteman72 , the yellowing is not caused by a lack of care or improper maintenance, (as is the case concerning Mr. Powers' teeth). Plain undyed bone just yellows with age. In fact, handling and oiling will speed up the process. It will become noticeable within months and cannot be prevented. Brass liners and pins only make it worse. Either you like this look or you don't, but the knife will not look new and clean for very long.
