That's micarta, not bone, right? That would explain the perfectly consistent color.

So glad red is winning....now, to go with my Buck forum knife that has the most boring stag I've ever seen and my Lionsteel that has ugly, pale horn...I can have a nice pink or flashy red forum knife. Red is definitely a safe decision

Although I was much in favor of the rotten banana, based on current polling there is no chance, so I switched to my original (earlier polling) first choice of ivory, which is still in the running. C’mon team anything-but-red!

For those who truly prefer red sawcut, but find yourself swayed by the "pink fearers" please take a look at all of the great examples of red sawcut GECs posted here and elsewhere. You'll see that GEC does an excellent job with these. Vote for what you want.

Looks like the Red army is going to be tough to beat!

I went with ivory bone. I love how it ages with me. I was thinking this may be the last time we get to do this so something unique like ivory sawcut bone would be cool. That said a nice Dark Red will be beautiful.

I'm in Brown but will switch to any other team to beat Red.
If we are going white then it should have been smooth. I think there is a reason you never see white sawcut. Oh well, better than pink!!

I guess I'm a pink "fearer" lol, but it's from experience. Just like all the other pink "fearers". Team up to beat pink.

I'm hoping you picked up on the sarcasm because I was laying it on pretty thick. And guess what?? That red is hideous too. I know when I think of a traditional work knife, the first thing that pops into my mind is bright red...again, sarcasm.
