Pics of customized production knives

First good use of a ZT I have seen in a long time. Really nice job, CM. I like it better than stock.

It opens drinks too!

I have a question for you guys. I just started doing the pattern contouring on G10 scales and I'm curious do you guys use a fine or coarse dremmel drum to do your patters? And, once you set your pattern do you go back and do any finer sanding in the pattern you made? Do you usually buff afterwards or just leave it alone?

Thanks for your time.

Anyone?

I don't know what equipment you've got access to but I used milling bits for my texturing; specifically a ball end mill (1/2") in HSS chucked up in my drill press. It makes nice clean cuts with no sanding required in G10.

I only used my "rotary tool" (don't own a Dremel but same shite different pile) with a course grit sanding drum for shaping the outside of the scales to make them flush with the liners. I hand sanded the perimeter of the TUFF & Gayle Bradley scales to make sure it felt good in hand but that's it for sanding.:)
