I don't know what equipment you've got access to but I used milling bits for my texturing; specifically a ball end mill (1/2") in HSS chucked up in my drill press. It makes nice clean cuts with no sanding required in G10. :thumbup:
I only used my "rotary tool" (don't own a Dremel but same shite different pile) with a course grit sanding drum for shaping the outside of the scales to make them flush with the liners. I hand sanded the perimeter of the TUFF & Gayle Bradley scales to make sure it felt good in hand but that's it for sanding. :thumbup:![]()

I re-shaped the blade and handle of this Kershaw Rake, and Phillip Dobson did a swedged high hollow regrind. Scary sharp.
