Pics of customized production knives

Playing around with swapping G10 slabs for the OEM stainless on the CRYO II. Factory makes a G10 Cryo... but no G10 for the larger brother... the CRYO II. I've done OD green and just finished a ghost jade... both having a high oblique Anso pattern. Tougher to see the pattern on the ghost jade as the translucency of the material doesn't reflect the light from the sculpted texture as well...

That jade is beautiful. Love the pattern style too

Not really a customized knife, but this is a DIY titanium credit card that keeps my wallet from flexing and bending my cards. This is my attempt at Todd Begg's "Cracked Ice" finish on titanium. I'm not sure if I'm confident enough to try it on one of my many titanium knife handles but I'm thinking about it.

What was your process to get that finish? I really dig his cracked ice, and I haven't quite seen anything else like it.

Watch closely at about 3:54 in to the video. They're using a small rotary disc cutting tool with light tapping motion in a random pattern. It's not difficult, but it was time consuming to do all the whole card.

Thanks, looks like I'll be doing some experimenting today!

^^^ That might have voided the warranty CM... ;):D:thumbup:

Clean work btw, the Insingo you waved is still my fav.

For people who are capable of repair and fabrication at home, warranty is an "oh... that's nice" kinda thing.
