Keyman... that Micarta gives me that 'favorite pair of slippers' feeling...! Broken in... familiar... and oh so comfortable! NICE!!!

I have to agree with Boomer52! I can't even remember the last time I saw scales that made me curious as to who made them and how much they cost. I forsee myself visiting and revisiting the pics of your piece. Please- feel free that if you happen to have any more pics of these particular scales....throw me a bone. Great job.:-)

I think it looks cool. Is that a skyline?
Thanks! And yeah it is, it was a blem. I stone washed the blade, made a jade back spacer, did all the scale work and put a carbon fiber clip on it :D I don't carry it much but its fun to experiment on :p

What is your stonewashing process? Mine is a gallon tea jug from Chick-fil-A, filled with rocks & nails, in the dryer on low..

A gallon jug, some river stones, some small regular stones, WD-40, and shaking it by hand for how ever long it needs lol

Worked on a Cryo II yesterday, Needs some tweaks for fitment but its looking good to me so far!

I reshaped the end of the handle on my benchmade 531. The symmetric shape that it comes in looks great but didn't feel great in my hand. I knew it could be improved so I busted out the old dremmel tool, drew my intended line on with a sharpie and got to grinding. I'm really happy with the result and it's so much more comfortable in hand now. And I actually love the aesthetic turn out.

I thought if doing the exact same thing. I really like the profile you went with on the end. Can you post a pic of the non-clip side and a close up?

Awesome by the way. I bet it is much better now.
