Pics of customized production knives

Got this back from Barry H the other day.

That knife is amazing. I've seen quite a few that are similar but I think this is the best one yet. Outstanding workmanship! Congrats Antony.

^^ I would like to see what that handle would look like paired with a stainless damascus blade! ^^

That would almost be good looking enough to make me want a Sebenza! :D

atony I've followed this thread and read all of the posts, but I don't recall you mentioning what that handle is made of. Is it the regular handle with sculpting, a new g-10 or new ti? It's very nice. I can't draw a bead on the material used. :)

Raidrop damascus in the works!!:D.

The handles are the standard Ti handles that CRK uses for the Sebenza, sculpted. MR.H sculpted them and beadblasted them. I rebead blasted the scales and clip once I got it, tried to achieve a little smoother or "matte" finish.

Buck 119 with re-ground blade tip and top guard ground down. Much more useful for me now without that upswept tip.

That's amazing. Did they know what your project was? I love my Military but tip-up would be great. I just wanted to see how it turned out - angle of mounting the new clip and such.

I actually told the salesperson straight-up what I was doing and he suggested the self-tap screws and threw'em in with the standard machine screws for free...Great customer service! The clip is a little off-center because of the lanyard hole on the handle but it works great man...

Just modded my ESEE Junglas. I etched the blade, stripped the coating, gave it some jimpping on the spine, rounded the spine, filework on the tang, ground out a choil, gunblue patina, gave the handle scales some shaping and texture, and dyed the scales. :)

Amazing job! How's it holding up with regards to rust though? Are you keeping it oiled or something to prevent oxidation?

Thanks! Haven't had a chance to use it much yet since I stripped the coating, I know it will stain easily but I gave it a brushed finish that I can touch up with a scotchbright pad to remove unwanted stains/rust. .....or I may just let it patina, I haven't decided yet. :)

Here's my modded ZT 0500. Stripped the finish of the handle slabs, wet sanded the thumb stud, pivot bolts and clip. Drilled the clip to sit lower down in the handle recess---makes the clip more stable and slowly, carefully ground a choil to allow for a choke up grip for finesse work :)

Eye-gasm! lol.
Just got my JYD II CPM-D2 in the mail today!
Very comfortable knife, then i removed the clip and its even more comfortable!
Who did the mods? I'd almost kill for a tip up carry option let alone the custom grips!
Now i really really want tip up carry!
