Wow - really like that 760, Rehn! How did you strip it? Wonder if I could get Tom Krein to regrind mine like that?

Very nice Rehn, improved it greatly IMO. How does it cut now?
Thanks! The spine is still pretty thick, so it'll still split something like an apple rather than slice one in half cleanly. The thinned edge does wonders for carving wood, slicing meat, skinning, and peeling fruits or vegetables though.

Thanks, I tried to strip it with paint thinner at first, but Benchmade's BK2 coating seemed impervious to the stuff.
I ended up just sanding the coating off with 120 grit wet/dry sandpaper, and finishing on 180 grit, since I like the scratched finish.

Here's my HEST 2.0 with a Kryptoglow scale (non glowing scale), if you can call that customized.

Anyone making scales for the Benchmade 585 and ZT350?
I have some whale teeth from my time as a Scrimschander back in the 70's and 80's. Trying to sell them is pretty much impossible because of the embargo and paper trail needed. Back then those of us in the biz traded them back and forth, bartered them or bought them without paper work.
I'd like to use one of them as scales for my 585 but do not have the skill or tools to do it myself.
