my Rat 1 . I like the way it came out but I was close to throwing it away and starting over with a new rat, I'm glad I stuck it out and figured out why it wouldn't center.

I love that RAT1!! Is it a DIY job? i modified my RAT but it didn't come out that nice.
what did you do with the blade and clip? sand-blasted?

RAT 1 is a great modding knife. Solid base to work off and if you wreck it, you're only out $30! Chopped mine down under RI legal limit (about 2.8" now handle to tip) with a side of reshaping and some convexing to finish. Still rock solid, dead center, and now much more likely to get carried.

Pietje , Thanks . I soaked the blade and pocket clip in ferric acid for about 10 min. and stonewashed them in my homemade stonewasher.
