Just finished this Benchmade last night, was a fun little project.

Now that is what comes to my mind when people say "Tactical" knife

I've had this material for a while now.
But, I have had no time to use it! I made these today.
Can you see the texture on these?
It feels like felt! It's hard to get a lot of the detail to show in the pics with this light.

Interesting choice... I really like that "fuzzy" look. How's it feel when it's wet? "Grippy", slippery?

Long story short, guy on another forum really hated it, so I picked it up for cheap. I didn't care for it either, so I decided it could be both a good little neck knife and a chance for me to try making my own micarta. Turned out well enough, considering how high my BAC was whenever I was working on it

It goes from borderline mall-ninja to reasonably tactical. Very nice.
I just made my first batch of Micarta. Not for a mod though. Trying my hand at knife-making from scratch.
Will post pics if I don't screw it up terribly.
