Pics of customized production knives

great work on your knives. I have a pilots knife which could uyse a new handle, yet I think getting the pommel nut off may be impossible. Any suggestions?
A hobby of mine: turning old M7 & M5 bayonets, jet pilots knives and USMC fighting utilities into something a little more interesting. I mostly sell them on ebay or at local knife and gun shows. Note the colored spacers on one of the 1917 Knuck Knives: the colors of the VietNam service medal.

Case Sodbuster with 1/8 inch lanyard hole. I like Case, but needed the lanyard hole because I work in construction and often have dirty hands. I drilled it and fitted the brass lanyard hole so I don't have to stick my hands in my pockets. A 12 inch piece of raw hide works great.

One more traditional lockback I did a while back and the latest completion of a more modern locking system.

My take on the griptilian scales with a contstruction requiring less milling for the metal liners.
I had envisioned an Army Ranger style for the M4 Ritter.
Just finished this one up today. Came out pretty good.

As simple as these may seem, there is more to them than meets the eye.
When working on a Griptilian; I really like to cater to the jimping.
I love the rounded edges.
It makes your grip super comfy.
But, I am delighted when I get it to where the jimping shows up like a row of teeth in a smile.
That is sweetness.

Ok I need details on how this was done!! I had asked about this when I first got my soddy about 2 years ago and people seemed to think it couldnt be done because of lack of space but I thought it looked possible and you have proven it! Any info on bit sizes and what size tubing would be great!

This stuff is very grippy, like most micarta.
It starts out a light brown.
But, will darken with age and use to a dark reddish brown.
This is one of my favorite materials.
The last pic is a set of these scales after years of use.

My new right pocket EDC, a waved (assist removed), ZT0300 with the flipper ground off and a torch colored Ti locking slab. Blade is bead blasted too.

Done!
