Pics of Pairs--Large and Small Versions of the Same Model

Here's another favorite pair--all stock, but well-matched. Guess this coulda waited for Military Monday.

My son's got a black-handled, satin-bladed Millie that matches my other Para. I'll have to get them together for a photo-op. Maybe for Black Friday.

The aqua 477-1 looks really nice. Someday I will get one.

I'm not much of a fan of assisted knives, but if you like em, I'm sure you'll enjoy one of those. I like the Emissary as well as the Barrage, I just never carry em because they're assisted.

Hey SE!! The 477-1 was my second BM. I just love that blade shape!! It can slice with the best of them! I know I'm in the minority, but I really like BM's assisted openers. They FLY open! Easy to close one handed also. I like mine even more now after I picked up the gray 470-1......real sweet pair to carry!
You won't be disappointed with one brother!! The color is great too.....have way too many black handled G10 knives.
Joe

Oh yeah!!!
Another pair pic!!

Very nice, I love my 450, haven't picked up a 452 yet...it's somewhere on the long wishlist.

It's funny how the wish list just keeps getting loooooooooonger......isn't it Corey???
😁😁😁
The 452CF is excellent!!! That thing flips like a monster!! Also an extremely sexy blade profile!!

The spring comes out of the Barrage very easily, Corey, and IMHO the knife opens and closes so much better without it. You also don't have to open it two-handed or against your leg if you're somewhere you don't want to hear the usual "Is that legal?" I de-assisted and did a few other mods to my 581 but left my Mini alone. It was a Christmas gift from my wife and I decided to leave it stock. I'll put those two up here later.

I've read that before, just haven't took em apart yet to see how it works. Hopefully the safety can be removed as well, because every time I carry a knife that has a safety, it ends up in the locked position.

My 0452 is one of my favorites, Joe, and it sure does flip like it's on steroids. With that strong detente it comes out harder than any AO I've handled.

She's a jealous girl, though. As soon as I bought my Shiro 111 M390 CF she tried to take the end of my finger. I had to give her a good carry day to calm her down even though flipping her hurt like hell with my finger half off. :miserable:

I forgot that knife even had a lock. I bought it on the Exchange and the previous owner had already removed it. I checked the Mini and there it is….

Like I said : When is a Ti Lite not a Ti Lite . . . when Bowerick Wowbagger gets ahold of one.
Well two different size handles anyway

So . . . I’m not a Cold Steel Fan Boy, not reeeeaaaaally . . . but there are things I like about them so I buy the ones I like and then take them to the shop and make working knives out of them. The only thing I modded on the Hold Outs bellow is I made the lock release on the big one work like it should.

Picking them up again for this photo (if you can call it that . . . I really must borrow The Chef’s camera one of these days . . . buy my own ? Nah . . . I’m saving up for a Sebenza or some such . . . anyway ) picking up the Hold Outs after the Ti Lites impressed upon me just how light the Hold Out knives are . . . REALLY light. I hardly notice the big one in my pocket as long as I have the clip on it . . . the big Ti Lite is like a nightstick in my pocket.

What I like about the Ti Lites is the thickness of the handle for twisting / carving control. I can roll the handle in my fingers as I close my fist and that is handy for a work knife.

Here they are all compared to the basic Benchmade Griptillian for handle thickness.

And finally just for the heck of it here they are folded.

View attachment 651841 A couple of Fantoni S-125-V folders.

I've recently become interested in Fantoni's, tiguy, and would love to see yours, but I keep getting an "invalid attachment specified" error message. Even if you hadn't mentioned the steel, I'd know it was top-shelf based on our earlier exchanges ;)

Corey,

And for a little diversity, I'll add a couple Sebenzas.

Can you tell me by chance how the S30V (or I guess it is S35V now) in the Sebenzas holds up compared to the M390 in my Ritter Griptillian. Reason I ask is I think I have found "MY STEEL" in the M390 but will be getting a Sebenza and hope to actually use it a lot. I'm not stuck on Sebenza I could go for another fat Ti handled, higher price range knife with a M390 blade as long as it is heat treated like my Grip. Love that blade in use ! ! ! ! Love it ! ! !

Awesome pairs guys!!
The Bokers look nice!

^^^
Yes ! Good thread.
I have had good luck with buying a larger Boker. I really enjoy using that knife.

Spyderco Lionspy & Lil Lionspy are awesome knives. I have both but I don't have any pics of them together, sorry lol

Also Hinderer XM-24, XM-18 3.5 inch, and XM-18 3 inch.
