The bulk of my experiance with S30V has been with Strider Folders. It has been uniformly excellent. The Sebenzas for me have been nearly as good.

I've had 5 out of 17 knives in S30V that chipped out. Good odds? Dunno. All are gone, and if I knew I had to prove it to someone I would have taken pics.S30V is just a steel, some have been good, some bad.
I always read people saying that s30v is brittle so brittle some would have you think it would shatter if it cut anything harder than balsa wood.

had to sharpen a paramilitary about 6 times to stop the chipping on cardboard. used to have pics on the comp, but no one in this thread is actually interested in seeing them.
Looks sorta like a homemade convex grind conversion.
