Pictures of Kershaw knives

Not sure if this fits the request, but here are a few images from a Boa with a clear front scale.

What would it take to get a knife like that, with clear scales?

Some Macallan 50 year old might do the trick.;)

...Oh Lordy Mike...It might be easier for you to toss him a couple of these...LOL...That 50 yr. old was distilled over a hundred years ago and might be tough to come up with unless you've got a good Scotch sniffin' puppy around the house...:p:p

Nice pictures. These show the principle of the speedsafe mechanism very good imo.
A real pity speedsafe is considered illegal in Belgium.

The spring also helps keeping the blade closed I see, does that mean that if you would (temporarily) remove the spring, it wouldn't stay closed in your pocket?
Or does another mechanism, like the liner for example, also helps keeping it closed?
I've also read about the "Tip Safety Lock" but as I understand it, it only helps when the clip is in use, and I'm not sure wich models have that feature.

In most cases, yes. The blade would be free floating if the torsion bar
were removed.

the small chive has a detent ball . I guess the chive can be used without torsion bar.
It's a big knife in a small package.Next week,I could post some pics from a dismantled chive folder.
