That's the knife I want but it might be out of production.???I can't see it in the Kershaw catalog.

Thomas said it was a limited run, but that doesn't mean they won't run it again in the future...

I guess I gonna replace the scales of a speedbump by G10 scales.I can't be that difficult.Maybe I also change the lock-screw and the right.

The ALBLK model above with black aluminum scales is usually findable at a famous auction site, subject to the usual cautions about buying from there...

Thanks for pictures.
Do you know what is the purpouse of that shiny ball?
Have anybody disassembled lock unit?

Thomas or spiral could probably answer this, but I'm going to offer a guess at the reason for the shiny ball...it is press fitted inside the spring retainer in order to keep the spring retainer seated in the blade...

I was told by Tim at some point that the spring pushes the ball which swells the spring retainer and keeps it in the blade

so this isn't my full collection and it was taken on an iphone, but i'm bored and messing around with .mac web galleries so i thought i'd share

My 1660PGT also has no Kershaw logo or S30V designation on the non-clip side of the blade. This seems to be normal for many of the 1660PGTs pictured. I'm pretty sure this variation pertains to date-of-manufacture. Mine has a born-on date of Dec 05. I'm satisfied with the 1660PGT, KAI Patented, and MADE IN USA blade labels on the other side, along with it being a great knife...:D

Ray :)
