Pictures of what you consider to be the ideal modern Gentleman's Folder

I just bought one of these off bf and think it is exactly a gentleman's folder for a modern age. I think that many of the previously posted knives are classy, but with the exception of the Boker Plus MC, none of them seem modern to me. I don't find wood to be modern.

Moki's are pretty nice.

If you change the blade for a 37 layer damascus, you have yourself a Boker Magnum King. Half the price of the Moki, from the same workshop.
The Lone Wolf City knife always struck me as the ideal GF.
As do the Fallkniven U1 and the Magnum Bamboo Jack.
My Ultimates would be William Henry or Rockstead, but I'd have to win the lottery to consider paying those sort of prices for a knife.
The Mcusta Mt. Fuji Wave knife would also be right up there.
Quite a range of prices in there, but all would look good in a suit jacket pocket.

The Boker magnum is made in china. the Moki is made in Seki city, Japan. I had one of the bokers awhile back and it wasn't very good (In my opinion at least)

There are some great photos posted so far.

I think the Leek is a pretty good gentleman's knife:

Years ago I bought this AG Russell for dress carry. It turned out to be a bit heavy for its size. I can manage a heavy knife with a pocket clip but the weight is more of a factor if the knife is laying in the bottom of your pocket.

I also bought this limited Benchmade for dress carry but it haven't convinced myself to carry it since it is a limited edition.

This is a more recent CRKT that I thought could be a bit dressier:

In reality though I have no problem carrying any of my big folders when wearing a suit.

I like the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder someone keeps posting in the EDC thread; it's a beauty.

Surprised this hasn't came up yet...

The 940 would fit the bill too, but the 943 fits it better imo.

Noted, thanks. I must look those up.
Michael is (was?) an apprentice of Scott Cook who makes the Lochsa.
I know where one is for sale. PM me and I will send you the link if you are interested. They are not inexpensive.
