Sincere apologies Paul, as someone who (apart from a very occasional cigar) quit smoking 35 years ago, but who still can't walk past a tobacconist's without staring in the window, this is my first visit to this thread. I'm just checking out potential recipients for the smoking paraphernalia I still occasionally come across ;)

And that's what it's all about, ain't it? Smoking a pipe is just a fine excuse to slow down, sit on the porch and watch the world go by. A totally under-rated activity in this day and age, if you ask me. ;)

You got that right. Now if this phone gadget would cooperate, I could get back to the Tom Waits album, "The heart of Saturday night" that I was enjoying and we'd be in really good shape. I noticed your sig line, good taste sir. If only these newfangled gadgets were as solid as the traditional knives we love so much...............
