I love the tamping stick Jonny D :)

Nice photo, and looks like it was a great afternoon.

Fine Stanwell you have there, my friend.

And that's what it's all about, ain't it? Smoking a pipe is just a fine excuse to slow down, sit on the porch and watch the world go by. A totally under-rated activity in this day and age, if you ask me. ;)

Thanks, how do you find your Stanwell? Mine smokes smooth and cool a really pleasurable smoke.

Sitting on the porch is definitely a lost art, catching a sunrise/sunset, watching/listening to all the critters, but best pipe smoke for me is either freshwater fishing or early morning fall camping when you are getting the fire and coffee prepared.

Back porch morning

Stanwell makes an excellent pipe, imo. I have my second Stanwell on the way right now. :D

My setup this evening, enjoying the view as the thunderstorms started rolling in....

ISKski, nice knife and matches too, do you live in the Atlanta area? I actually know the fella that owns Killer Creek.

^^^^ Cool!^^^^ ISKski, how do you like those Don Pepins...?

About a year ago I tried a "cuban classic" which I did not like at all. I Just didn't enjoy the flavor.

On the other hand - this one was terrific. I really liked everything about it.

I'd smoke one again but it was pretty expensive at $9.25 for a single! So I probably won't buy again..

Thanks, I'm 30067 myself.

thats pretty cool! Sadly I can't say I've actually dined there, I just commandeered these matches - but it sounds like a sweet spot.

we could have a Metro Atlanta Traditional Knife Enthusiasts dinner / meet up, there.

(old pic for pictures sake)
