PLEASE Help convince me!

I could only find one link, and then it was second hand, sorry if I put a bad image in your mind, just remembered reading that SOMEONE out there said theirs chipped

not a "bad" image. actually, i like hearing this sort of stuff, all the reviews and opinions i've heard so far have been waxing lyrical with nary a bad word to be heard.

hearing a different opinion is very valuable imho.

Think I'm gonig to put a bravo 1 on order ASAP, can't wait
hehe.

i'd wait until the Reserve Bank meeting (like, tomorrow or Wednesday iirc) if I was you. if they raise interest rates again, as seems likely, the AUD$ will probably spike up to ~US$0.95'ish again.

I'm in QLD btw.
good to know, so am i.

ask around with some QLD dealers, one of them might be prepared to get the exact model mini-rukus you want with little or no hassle. then again, it might still be a Customs nightmare.

Yep, I like to hear all sides of the story good and bad

Thats good for importing things right?
the higher it is the better it is for importers and worse for exporters? or is the the other way round

do you know where would I find these dealers? on this forum, under a specific sub forum? like the aus/pacific sub forum

actually, some of the posts in that thread were very informative and most were very positive about Fallkniven blades in general.

a high AUD$ is a good time to import from overseas. a low AUD$ is a good time to be selling something to people overseas.

you must improve your google-fu young padawan. (but by all means ask around in the subforums. iirc: Cuttingedgeknives.com.au or pacificblades.com.au are both Queensland based (you'll have to check those site URL's, i'm not sure if they are correct).

I just can't seem to find many dealers in AUS, mainly US dealers/sellers,and they are all out of stock it seems, maybe I'm using the wrong key words to search with but whatever I'm doing its not working

Knives Australia yielded a glut of information.

so did: Australian Knife Dealers

if you have a good friend in the USA, perhaps get all your formwork sorted out, then get them to buy it and mail it to you.

hmm thanks for that, its weird I tried like everything but that
qld knife dealers
615 aus delaers
benchmade aus dealers

plus a lot of the place i did look don't seem to stock benchmade products

JCK, if you're interested in a Benchmade for a reasonable price posted from an Aussie within Australia, email me.:)

I know how you feel; textbooks cost an arm and a leg. Don't go spending that much cash for a knife.

cool PM sent your way
But one thing is that I DO HAVE 200 dollars to spend as I had been saving for about a 60 dollar folder, but then got about 140 bucks for my birthday, so its all cool

as i mentioned in the other thread: i think Australian dealers are getting out of Benchmade folding knives because the Axis Lock mechanism is considered an "Assisted Opener", as such, they are all on the Prohibited Weapons List, which means that dealers stocking benchmade folders suddenly have a lot of hassles and issues to deal with everytime they want to sell one.

yeah thats why only private sellers seem to have them now, like you said
