Please Say a Prayer for my Peanut

Our peanut, who art in mailbox,
Hurried be thy trip,
thy mailman come, waiting is no fun, out window I've stared since seven.
Give us this day, our daily peanut.
And forgive us our delayed shipments, as we forgive those who have delayed shipments against us.
Lead us not into confiscation, but deliver our peanuts from evil.
Amen
Amen!! That was brilliant!!

I must tell you a true story about a knife and it's owner. A friend of mine was required to hand over his Gerber lockback at the airport in Orange county a couple of years ago. He couldn't send it home like you did. The Gerber was a groomsman present and had his initials engraved on it. Long story short, I bought it for him at a gunshow and left it at his desk. He had given up hope of ever seeing his knife again and was considering buying another one and having it engraved like the old one. Anyway, how it got from Ca. to Ok. no one knows, but it just goes to show anything can happen.
The Peanut will find it's way home.

 Must be catching. We were out in San Francisco last week, had dinner with t eh same Busse Hog, at the same restaurant, had the same problem. We get to the TSA line, and my wife finds her SAK Classic in her pocket. She whispers to me, so I palmed it, and slipped it into the overstuffed carry-on while we were doing the whole stupid 'take off yours shoes, empty your pockets, take out the laptop' thing. I was sure someone would have spotted me as the bag was up on the counter. But it went the through X-ray without getting noticed.

Man, that was great! I haven't had that good honest silly a laugh in a while. Thanks!

Hope it makes it home man, I almost got caught that way just last week but I had time and they hadn't sent my bag to the plane yet so I was able to go back out and stick it in my checked. I live in constant fear of loosing one of the nice ones due to my own stupidity. I travel alot, so it's a constant concern.

That's too bad. I'd be surprised if you ever do get it back. From what I hear from some other folks who travel, the $10.00 shipping fee drop box is nothing but a scam to snag additional money from an already desperate knife knut crowd.:thumbdn:

I sure hope I'm wrong and you see it soon. Please let us know how it woks out.

All the best ~

I,m with Goofy Doofus..I almost never fly anymore, well okay,I have only flown once since 911.

Here's a pic I took before the unthinkable... Still no word from my peanut.

If that's the case, I will simply dispute the charge on my card. If they don't deliver the goods as promised, I do have some "buyer's protection."

HAVE FAITH...;)
YOUR PEANUT WILL RETURN!

I did the same thing coming out of Dallas a couple of years ago with a SwissChamp and ended up getting it back about 3 weeks later. Maybe it will still show up!:)

The Peanut has landed.

The Peanut has landed.

And lo, there was great joy and rejoicing thoughout the land!

Nice to know even the TSA can do something right once in a while.

I had been watching this thread since you posted. Since I travel a few times a year, I stress about my knives. God blessed your peanut and gave it traveling mercies! :) Never understimate the power of prayer. Allelujiah brothers and sisters....can I get a WITNESS? Sorry folks, got a little pentacostal there!:o
