Please send Smoke and Prayers for Beanie Weiner

I'm glad he is on the road to recovery, here's to the completion of that journey to restored health...peace.
David.

That's a good report today Karda! At the least, cause for a little optimism I'd say. I pray that your dog recovers and brings some much needed joy back into your life again! :)

Karda, you know that Karen and I will keep praying for Bean as long as it takes.
I know all to well what you are going through. Darla hurt her back really badly a couple of years back and thank God with crate rest and weight loss she lived the rest of her life back pain free.
We are praying that Bean does the same.

Prayers sent for Bean, Karda and Lonni

Prayers sent. My wife got a wiener dog a few years back. At first I wasn't to keen on training a puppy. Wasn't long and the little fellow won me over. Now he is just like a kid and part of the family.

Thank you my friends!

An Update:

Bean is doing possibly a bit better than than he was. His wagger is working better and he's able to poop on his own. But still can't use his back legs. Vet has ordered more cage rest and meds and we are still hoping beyond hope that he will heal on his own.
Doc said he's seen dogs take several months to get thru something like this and come out fine. He's also seen things go the other way.
Right now it's like caring for a newborn, we have to get him out of the cage several times a day to change wee-wee pads and wash him up.
Bean on the other hand, while being very good about it, is getting restless. He just wants to play bally so bad he can't stand it.
We are still trying to raise the money for the surgery. Kind and generous donations from wonderful people (you know who you are and we thank you immensely!), selling of things and pinching pennies has gotten us nearer to the downpayment and i'm going to keep plugging until i make the goal. Auntie Yangdu has been especially kind, generous and helped me greatly in keeping strong.

sorry for the late reply karda i do hope every turns out for the best
smoke and prayers for you all
all the best to you all

Here are a couple pics i just took of Bean in his hospital bed.
He is so bored and pitiful it breaks your heart, especially when he lets out that houndoggy howl.

Continue prayers and smoke for Bean

What a beautiful little guy. Give him a treat from me please.

Here is a little video update to give you guys and idea of what we have been doing for the last couple of months. This is repeated whenever he soils his cage. He still seems to be making progress in small steps, so we will continue to do as we're doing. Please pardon the video quality and my ugly in all it's glory, it's been kind of a rough week here as the wife and i both seem to have caught some bug that our son brought home from work a couple weeks ago.

Just click on the video below and it will take you to it.
