Thank you my friends!
An Update:
Bean is doing possibly a bit better than than he was. His wagger is working better and he's able to poop on his own. But still can't use his back legs. Vet has ordered more cage rest and meds and we are still hoping beyond hope that he will heal on his own.
Doc said he's seen dogs take several months to get thru something like this and come out fine. He's also seen things go the other way.
Right now it's like caring for a newborn, we have to get him out of the cage several times a day to change wee-wee pads and wash him up.
Bean on the other hand, while being very good about it, is getting restless. He just wants to play bally so bad he can't stand it.
We are still trying to raise the money for the surgery. Kind and generous donations from wonderful people (you know who you are and we thank you immensely!), selling of things and pinching pennies has gotten us nearer to the downpayment and i'm going to keep plugging until i make the goal. Auntie Yangdu has been especially kind, generous and helped me greatly in keeping strong.
