Please send Smoke and Prayers for Beanie Weiner

Thank You!

Bean is still remaining stable as long as we keep him on his meds and seems to be getting his legs back under him after months of cage rest.
I wish he didn't have back problems at all, but am just thankful that he is still with us.
I just wish we could have saved his best friend Marbles, we still miss and think of him everyday.
As long as Bean remains stable, at least until I can get the surgery money saved all up, we are doing fine.

All your well wishes, donations and smoke and prayers are something we are thankful for also. Bless you all!

Another day, another update:

Bean is still doing well and is still stable. He has his legs under him again.
Pretty much the same report as last. As long as we are mindful of his back problems he seems to be doing alright.
He has lost a few pounds due to our dieting him, but loves to eat many vegetables now. So far, so good.

Although I did walk out into the living room earlier today and found this:

Thanks for the update. Glad he is doing okay, although he looks a little embarassed by the whole cat thing.

He does get a little embarrassed about it. He also gets annoyed at the cat for using his "house". But in reality they are great friends and you can tell they have a genuine affection for one another.

Good to hear, especially for the nice weather to be enjoyed.
Sometimes it's the best feeling to have a loved one snugged up to you when you're not feeling 100%. :)

Prayers up for your little friend. Sounds like he has enough guts and tenacity for 3 dogs.

I'm not into cats, but my dogs are always something special to me. They're more than family. And I like dogs more than I like most people ... :D

love to these precious creatures, I hope you guys all come out all right, life is a mean sucker sometimes, but its that love that makes any pain between worth it , and even when we feel great loss, we can know what a rare honor it has been to spend our time on earth with the ones that shared our spirit.

I have been following Beanie's status for a while. Sounds like he is a very lucky dog to have such good care. I have had a pack of dogs all my life and there is nothing like coming home to their company and antics. They keep you laughing for sure. Mine like veggies too. Have you tried sweet potatoes or carrots? They are really rich in nutrients and my dogs love them.
My neighbor has a Wienie dog australian sheppard mix and he is one silly dog. Loves to chase gophers!

This is my neighbors dog walking my wife.
I am fortunate to have a neighbor I can trust to watch my dogs if I go overnight somewhere and we do the same for his dog. Good luck in his recovery. Sounds like a slow process but he does seem to be getting better! Take care Bean!

Thank You ndoghouse (and all)!.. Good looking pack you have there!

Yes, Beanie likes sweet potatoes and carrots, but his favorite of all is green beans. His next favorite is broccoli stalks. He makes us eat the flower...
It's ok though, I like them boiled & buttered.
