I dunno .. that was so funny it almost made juice come out my nose. Maybe cause I walked in the room yesterday to a sobbing wife and had to endure 10 minutes of 'is my butt getting big?!?!' and 'how come I weigh the same yet my pants won't fit'. I didn't dare tell her I dried those new pants of hers on high heat. No way. No how.

You have to change your status yourself...I know, it makes no sense to me either... You can be gold, and "pretend" to be basic, but they don't like it when you do that...

It's also a sure way for the knife budget to be redirected to the replace all the clothes budget. :( Been there done that.
 
Very good of you Andy.

After purchasing my first hand made custom knife from a maker on bladeforums, I decided to upgrade to show support for such a wonderful place. So many knives ago....

GodMods come with the territory...Just like trolls. I got my membership and didn't know that I had to switch the settings to make it show up and got nailed by a Mod when I posted that my Duke was for sale....luckily he wasn't a a GodMod and was pretty cool about it.

It was the Duke from Blade that didn't sell at the show. I picked it up when Andy posted it on a follow up Thread. It had Red and black Plum wood. It was a beauty. I had some hardships hit me after the purchase and ended up needing to sell it to buy some Tires to make it through the winter. I miss that knife!

Yes it is kevroo. My band is not near the caliber of your friends band though. They actually plaid for the President a few years back. We had a student at Penn State that belonged to that band and worked with ours.
