Please suggest small fixed blade knife for every day carry.

I carry a Bark River Knives Northstar EDC and love it. I wear an XL glove size and I can still use it comfortably. It's nice and slim and rides easy on the belt in the sheath it came in with very good retention. It's a full-height convexed CPM-3V blade and very tough. BR doesn't run it too hard though so it's still easy to sharpen. I love it and carry it every day to work.

If you want something with more belly than the NS EDC, the Woodland Special is a great little knife. I wasn't crazy about the less ergonomic handle design, but it works for most folks. The Mini-Canadian is also really good. I've got one on the way now.

The mini Canadian is probably my most useful fixed blade. The mini skinner is nice too, some might not like the finger grooves in the handle.

How small? Smallest fixed I have is my new Candiru but thats not small thats tiny. When I think good suggestion for small fixed EDC any of the Ka Bar TDI series are beyond outstanding. Going up in size a bit the Ka Bar Mk1 but without a custom sheath for small of back horizontal carry they suck. Im gonna stick with my any TDI suggestion I have 2, The original plain edge large TDI and the new Hinderer Hinderance. I greatly like the old large TDI better as it has good usable belly curve edge where the hinderer is flat

damn what am I thinking? Best small fixed I have is a BK17. It is incredible. Unfortunately the sheath is far to large and way to long to be worn any other way than off the belt. Horizontal carry fold over style custom kydex sheaths are available for small of the back carry. wish I had one the BK17 is a knockout
