How many folks here remove pocket clips altogether on knives that come with clips?
I do the same thing. Most times if it's a small knife, pocket carry. Depends I guess. I agree with the above post.depends on the knife . As well as where I am going. And doing. But I keep the clips on.I’m a pocket clip guy. Don’t own a knife I carry that doesn’t have one. I even left the clip on my Mnandi and it rides in the bottom of my pocket.
I thought I was the only one that had problems with seatbelts getting snagged on my clips. I've never lost one but I sure did bend a bunch of clips so far.I will admit, even thought I'm a clip lover, that they are the primary source of knives getting lost. Many a time I found the knife I was carrying almost completely out of my pocket because the clip had snagged on something, or found knives on the floor of my car because the seatbelt had pulled it out of pocket. And, unfortunately, I've lost about half a dozen knives throughout my life, some of them very nice and irreplacable, and I suspect the pocket clip was the cause.
I keep spare clips in my parts box for just this reason.I thought I was the only one that had problems with seatbelts getting snagged on my clips. I've never lost one but I sure did bend a bunch of clips so far.
