Pocket Clips?

Mostly just cringing at memories of my youth. Wearing roller blades. And maybe a fanny pack.

I most definitely had roller blades and a “hippie pack” as well…not sure if I wore them in tandem though. Haha.

Only on some smaller pocketable knives, like the Chaparral or on nice knives like the carbon fiber and fluted Ti Native 5 where the clip looks ugly and also the ergonomics are better without a clip.

I took the clip off. I’ll just carry it loose in my pocket like…well, like a pocket knife! It feels good and handles very well without the clip. I like it.

The clips stay on. Otherwise I’d just own traditionals and SAK’s.
I have come dangerously close to seatbelt loss on a few occasions though.

A clip can make or break an otherwise good knife.

You know what inspired monkey I was considering one of them fanny packs. But it just looks too well it looks too you know what I mean!

I don't know they're not for me. I wear cargo shorts I could move my house in my pant pockets. But don't worry there's no money in them

At this point in time, I carry a cold steel folder (atm AD 10) in a cross draw belt sheath. I left the clip on there, in case the spring on my ford breaks and I need to replace it on the side of the road. Always nice to have spare parts.

Aditionaly I carry a often changing benchmade with a deep carry clip, these are the only clips that never snagged on something and I'm never worried to loose a knife I saved up half a year or so. Loosing one is my worst nightmare, literally.

I’m a pocket clip guy. Don’t own a knife I carry that doesn’t have one. I even left the clip on my Mnandi and it rides in the bottom of my pocket.

I LOVE ...pocketclips on knives! Let me know....IF a person is carrying a blade!

I detest clips on knives. Usually just remove them. They tend to cause premature pocket fraying.

I love clips. I consider the pocket clip, the Spyderco thumb hole, and one-hand lock mechanisms to be great inventions for knives, tremendously increasing the usefulness for me.

I only remove the clips from my Sebenzas. How in the world can they get the knife so right and the clip so wrong

I agree, the hawk clip is good though... but I think it's close to a hundred dollars!

Just traded a ZT 0801 for a Maserin AM4. Ghost clip on the AM4 stows in the knife out of sight if you don't want a clip. Attilio Morotti has another fine idea.
