This will diminish price IMO.

How are all of ya that paid inflated prices gonna feel now??

I'm perfectly content with the "inflated" after market price I paid for mine, and pleased to be able to get another variation less expensively.

(You do recall that there was a sticky at the top of this forum for almost 4 years, saying they would be re-released, right?)

I've seen you complain that the Strider issues shouldn't be discussed, because such discussion will diminish the price of your knives; and now this.

Honestly, man, you repeatedly show yourself to be a poor "investor" in knives, and then hope to make up for it by imposing on everyone else. If you're going to behave like this, then please stop investing in knives, knife hunter; buy knives you like because you want them; and leave the rest of us out of your ill conceived investment concerns.

The sabre grind on the SFNO's from a few years ago had pretty thin edges.

I agree with Evolute on it depending. Take a look the FSH and HOFSH. The FSH was 0.25" with a sabre grind and the HOFSH was 0.32" with a full flat grind. They were ground at the same angle.

I had and sold a saber ground SFNO and that's what I want (only with mag tiger canvass or green linen scales and a crinkle coat this time :) ).

You had the od green coated SFNO hadn't you? With the standard scales? I loved that combo:cool:

Saber grind. The SFNO isn't small, so it's going to be roughed, and in that case, why not make it as strong as it gets.

I'm leaning towards Saber Ground SFNO. Extra fat!:thumbup::thumbup:

MOASFNO maybe? :p

Hey buddy,

I have no problem with anythig Ive bought. I can afford it. Yeah I buy more than I need ....cause I can. Plain and simple

I m not sure what your issue is, but I dont appreciate your tone in the least.

I collect knives cause its fun. Period

I have never in my life even looked to buy a strider or ever even owned one, so you show you know nothing about me.

I have sold the 98% of my Busse's to others for what or less than I paid

So if you think I am only "POORLY INVESTING" you again show your ignorance

What Ive earned are some cherrished friends, the best knives Ive ever used, and a couple weeks of hotels for my charge card points.

I am sure this will come back and I may earn a couple a points tonignt but I dont think Ive ever slapped anyone in public like you did me.

YET!:p:p:p:p

want to keep running that "D!@K sucker at me

and

u can open a thread in W@C and I 'll join ya for a couple drinks

edit to add: no sticky anywhere. maybe I never saw it since I only joined less than a year ago.

also I like how you only snipped the little part about knocking on values, what about me asking for a fatty????

HUH.

SHow me ONE example of any of your proposterous statements

Well, I wish I had added another category to my Poll. Some of you all have mentioned the idea of the THICK flat grind blade. I too have the HOFSH that has a flat grind blade but is .32 thickness.. this is an excellent design too. I never thought about Jerry doing this to the SNFO configuration. I was figuring that it would be the old .22 thick, and from the pics I've look at "never held one" :-( I like the thicker upper look. Kinda like comparing the Heavy Heart to a normal FSH. Hoping to see what jerry puts up soon.. What ever it is, I'll like it, but I"ve always liked the thicker blade designs. CAMO BLADE OPTIONS ARE GOOD TOO!

evolute ,

since you shook this hornets nest

talk about bad investments.

I never paid $727 for a CGSFNO. LMAO!

Like you and your 1 itrader

I was actually able to sell all mine for less. Some considerabley less:p

knife hunter,

Firstly, you are right that I had you confused with someone else in regard to the Strider comments. For that, I apologize.

Secondly... when you start talking about how you don't want the SFNO brought back; it will diminish the price... then, yes, you are investing in the knives, and investing poorly (within the context that it was announced in a sticky at the top of the page for four years that they'll be brought back). And, yes, when you say no to bringing them back, you are suggesting that the rules be changed, to protect your ill conceived investment.

Thirdly, your language is not appropriate for this forum, and your hissy fit is just silly.
