knife hunter,

Firstly, you are right that I had you confused with someone else in regard to the Strider comments. For that, I apologize.

Secondly... when you start talking about how you don't want the SFNO brought back; it will diminish the price... then, yes, you are investing in the knives, and investing poorly (within the context that it was announced in a sticky at the top of the page for four years that they'll be brought back). And, yes, when you say no to bringing them back, you are suggesting that the rules be changed, to protect your ill conceived investment.

Thirdly, your language is not appropriate for this forum, and your hissy fit is just silly.

first off.. yes your were wrong. Very big of you to admit it.

Two. I guess you missed the part about friends , knives, etc and me wanting more.

I am not the first or only one to have the nerve to say it aabout this knife or others

# 3 My language is a 1st ammednment protected right. just as yopu had the right to start throwing rocks from your glass house. and I never wrote out any explitive language thats in my post. I used abbreaviates as everyone else here does so dont try and make the abbreaviation of the name DICK into a big deal little man.

If you think this is a hissy fit. LOL! You obviously arent a parent, but being that I am.

I have learned that your cant over look ignorant accussations even from the most ignorant.

I think what is silly is your flimsy attempt at an apology

Back on topic. I would like to see both offered so everyone is happy. I would buy the sabre ground for it's greater strength. This knife will find it's way into SAR rotation and it needs to be up to the challange.

Just to be clear, my comment about the your language was referring to the fact that the Busse subforum is considered a family forum, and that kind of language is not allowed on this forum. As this is a privately owned forum, not a forum owned and run by the government, your first amendment rights have no bearing on this. All that matters here are the rules set by the moderators of this private forum, which you voluntarily participate in.

It was also intended to hint at the fact that you can make cogent arguments without resorting to obscenity, insults, and big block letters. In fact, it usually works better.

As for the rest... I'll take a break and give you an opportunity to calm down.

Cheers.

Well, I dont blame you . I d take a break or ask for someone to ring the bell if I were you too:D

It is a family forum and I am cleaner than a lot who post here . THis is an adult forum and if you are gonna turn to my "reaction" , to your ignorant "action" as the cause. Then there is no reasoning with you, but I will try.

lets get back to what started this

you

accussed me of imposing my agenda on you and the forum:confused:,

of making poor investments and basically being a futard.

thats what I took from your post as will most.

Where's your rant on ?

Ugh thatll kill the value of my sabre ground SFNO :grumpy:

Who really made the bad investment if you actually read the sticky that they would be re released and still paid $727 for a CGSFNO. ITs not even a snake!. LOL

Which I know wont be made again. LMAO!.

I am still waiting for 1 example of any action, statement etc to support your original unsolicited rant against me.

I think you will find that I have always followed the golden rule until someone took a golden shower on my head.:p

Don't think that you can go around making totally bogeous statements in a public forum and not be expected to support your claims.

as far as I am concerned you were "TROLLING"

and should get a swift kick in the rear end

Holy COW!!! What... Is it Fight Night on the Forums over here & in the GB&U?????????????

Ok, both to your corners. :D Breathe deep & chill!! Let's not get yet ANOTHER thread locked down over here, huh? We're all supposed to be here with a common interest...

And with that said, I chose SABRE grind, please!!! :D:D:D And like my coffee, I'd prefer it thick 'n' strong!!

NOW...

Let's Drink!!!!!! to the reincarnation of the SFNO... No matter what its form may be! :D:thumbup:

Well... since you're waiting for one example of such a statement, I'm back, so that you don't have to wait too long.

This is mostly reiteration, but:

(1) I admitted that I was mistaken about the Strider part of the statement, and apologized for it. I know you consider it a flimsy apology. My apology for that is sincere, but not extraordinarily profound, because it was a fairly trifling incident. Nonetheless, my apology for that is sincere. You might also consider it flimsy because my apology is limited in scope to that one statement; and I stand by the rest. That remains true.

(2) For your one example, I refer you to your post #18, especially the part I quoted in post #26. There it is. There is your example. It's right there. I don't know how many times you want it re-quoted.

(3) The price I paid for it was not a bad investment, because I didn't buy it as an investment. If the price drops to $0: fine. I didn't buy it as an investment. I bought a knife I wanted at a price I was willing to pay for it; and I remain content with that.

No, I wasn't trolling.

No, you don't always follow the golden rule. Your question, "How are all of ya that paid inflated prices gonna feel now??" was the inconsiderate beginning of this exchange between us.

Must be an eqinox thing or something.

Holy crap.

If the two of you have issues with each otehr, take is somewhere else.

If you have comments about the marketing, buying, selling, etc. of a model of knife, please start your own thread.

Do not come into someone elses thread and muck it all up.

Now, carry on, drink up, and play nice....

This is mostly reiteration, but:

(1) I admitted that I was mistaken about the Strider part of the statement, and apologized for it. I know you consider it a flimsy apology. My apology for that is sincere, but not extraordinarily intensely heartfelt, because it was a fairly trifling incident. Nonetheless, my apology for that is sincere. You might also consider it flimsy because my apology is limited in scope to that one statement; and I stand by the rest. That remains true.

So , for #1 to have never happened and was so insignificant. It really set you off.

Post 18 says

no to the sfno.

nO NO

if one is made

make em fat please. Like a nuclear meltdown SFNO .270 fully convexed

THat makes it different and wouldnt necessarily be against protocol.

but I still vote no.

This will diminish price IMO.

How are all of ya that paid inflated prices gonna feel now??

Bring on the muk. THese are old news.

been there ...done that

and # 3

So, I asked a question? no faces, no bold, no nothing.

My question was ...How are you that paid inflated prices gonna feel?

Still a legitimate question. and thats against the golden rule?

How do you feel? I think your taking your frustation on your purchase out on me cause I simply asked the question.

I buy a lot of things everyday everywhere. Simply stating.

If I bought anything and found out that, if I had known and waited, that I could have gotten two for the same price. Id be disappointed. not mad. Not in a Psycho rant, just disappointed

Does that mean I aint gonna buy anymore toiltet paper or whatever it is?

No

But I am glad that my CGSFNOS are all snakes:thumbup:

edit to say I am done Hammy. I wrote all this before you posted . Not being belligerent

Knife Hunter,

I'm not worked up. If it's come across that way, it was unintentional, and I'm sorry.

To honor Hammy's request, I suggest we carry this conversation elsewhere, if you still want to continue. You are welcome to call me, as long as you're civil: (831) 325-6917. (Edited to add: This business number has been widely available on my website and other places on the net for years, without incident. Thanks for your concern.)

And that's it for my participation in this exchange.

edit to add: mods please take down his # incase he bugged out.

Yeah, someone convex mikeymoto  and then sell us whichever SFNOs may be sold!

Am I mistaken about something? Doesn't a full convex (aka "zero edge geometry") offer the advantages of both the saber and full flat grinds? Wider just under the spine than a full flat, and thinner behind the edge than a saber.

Or were you confused because that wasn't a poll option? Now I'm cornfused...need another drink to help me think straight. :p

I'm drinking Mikey and I believe it was a quick pun at convexing YOU (not the knife) so we can carry on and grab whatever is offered.... but then again I'm drinking.....

I've got both grinds and I'll take the flat ground every time.

I'd rather keep the blade thin and have a NMSFNO!!!!!

Now that would be cooooooooooooooool:cool:

This could be a great, er, make that another great mid-size Busse.

Did I mention that I recently got a ZT SFNO. I did and it showed some very light use, I don't feel bad using this one. Love the way it handles. So light, but cuts nice. Not a Sarquatch, but then what else could be?

You have just F'ed with the wrong guy around here. I suggest you think about what you say next.. I don't mind verbally tearing you a new A$$ H0le .
-No Regrets

If u talk chit to T. aka Knifehunter your gona have a problem with me also. Stop this nonsense NOW !

Get your facts straight b4 you post something on a public forum..

I'm perfectly content with the "inflated" after market price I paid for mine, and pleased to be able to get another variation less expensively.

(You do recall that there was a sticky at the top of this forum for almost 4 years, saying they would be re-released, right?)

I've seen you complain that the Strider issues shouldn't be discussed, because such discussion will diminish the price of your knives; and now this.

Honestly, man, you repeatedly show yourself to be a poor "investor" in knives, and then hope to make up for it by imposing on everyone else. If you're going to behave like this, then please stop investing in knives, knife hunter; buy knives you like because you want them; and leave the rest of us out of your ill conceived investment concerns.
