I would not encourage anyone to buy a sword for their lawn care. That would be like using a machine gun to cut down a tree. It could do it I guess, but it's not the right tool for the job, it's a weapon.
BTW, I just wanted to say that you're right; A machinegun really ISN'T the right tool to cut down a tree.

A minigun OTOH... 😁
Good for taking down trees AND clearing brush 😂

You may not have met Humboldt County yet! Then there are Trinity, Shasta, Del Norte and other rural northeastern counties where respect will be met with like reciprocity. I wouldn't act like a big swinging d*ck and an a**hole around the locals in any of those. In other words, not the Kali to be made fun of ;)
You speak of the state of jefferson of course. Waaaay better then cali

But let's be honest here. I'd be willing to bet there isn't a soul here who wouldn't be willing to pay some money to cut down some trees with a machine gun

I shot down a tree once with an SKS. Mind you, it was not a particularly large tree. But it was a tree. This was back when you could buy a thousand rounds of 7.62x39 for $89 at a gun show. And I did.

Wouldn't it be nice to have mid-40s adult money back in your early adulthood late childhood? Man, all the good stuff was cheap back then but I still couldn't afford it. Back in my twenties, a guy I worked with bought 50 acres for $500 an acre. What I wouldn't give.

I just wish I had bought a few more cases of that 7.62x39 and not burned it up like an idiot

I wish I knew in my early 20s what I knew in my mid thirties. That would have been fun :) (Not talking about money or ammo).

There's a place in Vegas called Battlefield Vegas where you can pay to shoot select-fire firearms, up to and including an M-134 minigun.

They also have a tank and an outdoor range for their 'Outdoor Experience' packages, outside Vegas for shooting some of the options including an M107A1 .50BMG.

Well.... now I know what I'm doing on my birthday. This thread is costing me more and more money I don't have by the minute.

I’m in. But contingent on cost and life’s circumstances at that moment in time.

I own many knives and various axes, more than I’ll ever need, but I still don’t own a single sword. I’ve been patiently waiting to find the right one, which would have to be legitimately capable of being used for its intended purpose. Not that it ever would be, you just never know. And of superior construction and quality. I don’t want anything fancy, it wouldn’t be for show or on display. I want a true warriors sword, something reliable, something you’d bet your life on, because it may depend on it one day. With that said, I believe Nathans craftsmanship, philosophy, and integrity demonstrate that he’d be the perfect choice for making said blade. I really hope the stars align for this one.
