Poll Please Answer !!!!!!!

Since the age of 8 I use to carry a small slipjoint carving knife; that knife went everywhere and did everything. It now sits on my desk, too many good memories to risk loosing.

I'm 18 now and for the past 2 years I carried a one hand opener. (until i lost it last week).

Im 28. Always have a stockman or trapper in my pocket. Sometimes a locker as well, but in the UK that is an arrestable offence without good reason :mad:
 
I carry both--a very small slipjoint with nail file, bottle opener and screwdriver, and one handed opener lockblade. I am 56.

I mostly carry a Queen Canoe pattern slipjoint.

But I also have 2 Benchmade One handers for carry at certain times.

One slipjoint, a Victorinox Swisschamp.

A variety of one-handers, including Sebenza, BM 710 HSSR, Spyderco Military, Ritter RSK Mk.1 etc.

Either an auto or balisong as main knife, Spyderco Rescue 93mm as secondary, and a V'Nox Cybertool 41 (my only slipjoint that I carry). I'm 24.
 
I rotate my EDC's, but the knife I will most likely have on me is Spydie Michael Walker lt/wt, which is a onehander linerlock, there are another half dozen linerlocks (custom & production) in the rotation.

I've also ben carrying my Tony Bose slipjoint a lot, as well as my PJ Tomes 109X which has one blade lockback and one blade slipjoint. I do aslo have my Russell Barlow or Spyderco Kiwi in the rotation. When I'm at work these are the knives that I would have on my desk, to open mail or just fondle while I'm on the phone.

Same slipjoint EDC for the past 40 years...Schrade Walden stockman + a variety of one-hand openers. Age: 57
 
I carry both at the same time: a SAK (Tinker, Recruit or Climber) and a one-hand locking folder (Spyderco Persian, BM Griptilian, Camillus Dominator, etc.). Right now I'm carrying my Tinker and my Delica.
I'm 45.
 
Seems that I am in the vast majority that carries both.

I EDC my SAK (Soldier) and Spyderco Delica(SS).

Interesting poll.

I carry a SAK of some sort every day. My favorites are the Classic, Cybertool 34, and Compact.

I carry a one hander every day. Invariably a Spyderco any more. Was the Dodo for a many months until I broke it, now it's the Persian.

I'm 23.

Interestingly enough, I didn't really get into one handed opening knives until I was about 17. I carried nothing but traditional slipjoints and SAKs from age 8 to 17. I still like trappers a lot and will on some occassions carry a trapper or every once in a while a stockman.
 
I carry a one-hand opener (usually a Camillus EDC D2, but ever since that new Paramilitary...) and I just turned 18 years old.
 
I usually carry a SAK Midnight Manager II on my keychain, and lately one of the new SAK Huntsman with a white LED light, as well as my BM 710HSSR. So I usually always have a slip joint and a one hand opener on me. I'm 29 years old.
