I carry a slipjoint (Victorinox) and I'm 15. I don't see the necessity of a lock. In some uses, it may be useful, though. I prefer to have a Swiss Army Knife to a single-bladed knife.

A one hand opener with locking blade and my Leatherman Squirt, but I don't carry it for the knife.
30 years old.

Hi,

One hander - BM Emerson CQB 750 - Not a great knife but it was to-p of the line (for a production folder) when I got it many years ago.

32 years old (but my girlfriend is only 25!)

I always have a one-hander every day. Lately a SAK of some kind has been in my pocket everyday. I just rediscovered SAKs again. I've bought 8-9 in the last 2 months. I'm 35.

At 49 I carry both. Multiblades usually during the week at my office. Today I am carrying a Ulster made in the 30's. Over the weekend I was carrying a Cook Lochsa.

I'm 25 and I typically carry a one hand opener, though a slipjoint has found its way into my pocket on more then one ocasion.

I rotate my EDC one-hander regularly. But always carry a SAK. Typically, it's the Tinker or Climber. I'll be 35 in two weeks.

I EDC a VIC Huntsman and a Schrade stockman, have carried a slipjoint since I was 8. I have several one hand openers but rarely carry them, I´m 52.

I carry several Vic SAKs. I also carry a one-hand opener sometimes.
I'm exercising my right to not divulge my age beyond the fact that I remember when Cabbage Patch Kids first hit the stores. :)

Carried a slipjoint since I was 5... now 20 and carry a Sheffield Lambsfoot slipjoint, 3" blade and one hell of a backspring on it.

Started carrying locking knives since I was 7-8... moved on to one handers in summer of 98, age 14, with a delica... now 20 and carrying 3 one handers and a fixed on me right now.

Multi tool (LM Crunch) can also be cycled one handed, and usually is.

Just turned 21 this summer, and have been carrying a large Mayo TNT for the past couple of years. On occasion I will swap something else into the position, but it is always a one hander for me.

Well that is except while I had a SAK on my key ring, which I replaced with a Leatherman P4 Squirt.

Sorry, I'm a little bit late... :p

I'm 27, and I always carry one-hand openers. I sometimes put a Victorinox or a Laguiole in my pocket, but my EDC is a small Sebenza.
To be honest, the "modern" knives are so convenient, I think it is impossible for me to go back to slip-joint knives for daily tasks. :D
