Always cary one handed openers (BM 705-02BW, BM 806SD2, Spyderco cricket, Spyderco native) and usually cary a slipjoint, too (toothpick, stockman, hope to be getting a Queen cocobolo whittler soon).

I will cary fixed blades too, depending on where I'm going and what I'm doing.

I have been carrying a Queen Slipjoint for the last couple of months but prior to that I carried one-handed openers. I'll switch occasionally between the two. I just turned 40 this month.

Slip joint...Victorinox Settler (my main EDC)
One hander...CRK Mnandi

I am 41.

One handers almost exclusively and it's usually something from CRK. I'm 41 (for 7 more days)

I carry mostly one hand openers. I am 49yrs young.
I also use SAK"s, but I find that the one hand opener varity of knife is what is handiest for me.

Mostly slipjoints. Occasionally I'll cary a one hander as well, never instead of. I'm 33 years old.

At least one of each every day. 33 years old. More miles than I care to think of. And like Indy says, "it's not the years, it's the mileage".

I usually only carry a one-hander, pocket-clip knife (today my Spyderco G-10 Police).

I'm 37 years old.

EDC mostly rotates among my favorite one handers, but I also own a couple of slip joints that find their way into my pocket on a regular basis.

I'm 49.

I'm 27. I carry both. A Laguiole and a Spyderco Military. I find that it's the best of both worlds. The Millie is a tough folder that I can count on. On the other hand, it tends to freak out the sheeple. That's when I use the Laguiole. It still garners a lot of attention, but it doesn't seem to make others nervous. I don't know if it's the natural handle materials, the elegant design, or the two-handed opening, but the Laguiole just doesn't elicit the negative response the Millie does.

Another good thing about carrying both is that the slipjoint makes a good loaner. Most people can figure out how to close a slipjoint, while there are many people out there who don't seem clever enough to undo modern locks. Plus, the Millie also pulls double duty as a defensive piece. I only let a trusted few touch it.

I really like the SJ's for use, but that pocket clip and one hand opening opening on tacticals is too handy, I also carry for SD. I carry both. I'm 31.
