I carry both, but my favorite is still my single bladed, slim line, bone handled Case Trapper. The blade is so thin it’s almost like a razor blade from 50 years of carry. 3-1/2” of rolling thunder, LOL!

EDC is a small Sebenza, weak side. With a Schrade Old Timer stockman in the pocket. I'm 35.

One handers or fixed only. Can't remember the last time I carried a slip.

Always have a SAK Climber and a folder. Folder alternates between a Sebbie and a Firetac.
And I'm 32.

I´ll be 31 in a week. My folders most frequently carried are:

Slipjoint: Victorinox Explorer
One hand opener: Spyderco Kiwi or Spyderco Native depending on environment.

Lately I find myself carrying a Schade 34OT Stockman along with a Benchmade 940 Osborne. I was born early in the second half of the last century :)

Always carry both. Sebbie or Spydie in waistband, but it's the Swisschamp in the belt pouch that gets opened in public.

Still 39 for about another month and a half.

Cool thread! It seems that everyone is either older or younger than I thought!

I'm 32.

Until my new knife comes in the mail I'll continue to carry my one-hander - a Benchmade Emerson CQC 75. It's just at the end of it's useful life (the titanium liner lock moves almost all the way accross the contact surface of the blade).

The knife in the mail is a HideAway. I'll be reviewing it soon. I'll be carrying this knife primarily for defense along with an Opinel carbon blade for general cuting tasks. The Opinel does lock but it takes two hands to open.

I usually carry one-handers. Other than Leathermen, the only actual slip joint I carry these days is the back half of my Benchmade 921. But of the sixteen folders in my current carry rotation, three are not one handers. Two are nail-nick lockbacks, one is a Barry Woods locking Pacific Cutlery 983.

I'm 37.
