No slipjoints for me. My very EDC is a Spyderco Delica in SE, but sometimes I alternate with other knives, all one hand openers (Spyderco, most of them). I'm 38 years old.

I typically have on me at all times a one hand opener, a leatherman micra, a bear cutlery mini tool with pliers, and a Victoinox swiss army tool. And I'm licensed to carry a concealed handgun so I usually have one of those on me too. Most often a S&W 32 HR Mag.

I'm 44 years young

2 slip...........Vic SwissChamp, Utili-Key

3 onehand....Small reg. c.g.g. "Stars & Stripes" Sebbie, AM S.E.R.E. 2000, SpyderCard

For work add:
1 fixed.........Camillus ArcLite
1 onehand....Strider GB-TS
1 multi-tool...Vic SwissTool

57 glorious years old!

I carry both at pretty much all times, every day.

My slipjoint is always my trusty Buck Cadet (stockman style, 2.5" main blade), I have all 3 blades' edges profiled to different characteristics (I have the sheepsfoot setup for cutting paper, the spey for cutting coarse stuff, and the main clip-point as an all-purpose), it is also a very "typical", "traditional", and non-threatening knife, so if I'm in a situation where I feel using the one-hand opener would be inappropriate, I reach past it in my pocket and produce the Cadet.

My one hand opener depends on where I am and what I'm doing. At college, I carry a Kershaw Vapor II. On duty (I work in private security), I always carry my trusty Kershaw Blackout. When just "at home" I usually rotate my Spydie Chinook, CRKT Blitz, and Outdoor Edge Magna. My Kershaw Scallion lives in the drawer and I don't like it very much.

I am 18 (3 months from 19) years old

BM-940 Osborne red handle, satin plain edge left front, Microtech UTX 70 blue handle, satin plain edge right front, Camillus Mini Talon around my neck. All one handers. 36.

Vic SAK soldier or Queen pen utility, both slip-joints. At times I might grab something a little more tactical, but generally it's one of the two mentioned for EDC.

I carry a slipjoint all of the time and I add a one hand opening knife about half of the time. I'm 46

52. Always have a one hand opener, second knife is often a slip joint or lockback. Have 2 slip joints on order - can't wait for them to be ready.

I used to EDC a Buck Cadet too (the poly-pearl Wal-Mart one). I like the way you set it up, it is a cool little knife.
