Order 315 tracking info sent today! Mine was orange with black sheath. If that helps anyone.

Interesting. Was yours a preorder? My order # is 257 with the exact same configuration, but I didn't get in on the preorder. No tracking info yet, either.

Ordered in November

I ordered in March with order #257, so I'm wiling to bet he's not through all the preorders yet. That might help clear up some confusion if folks with low order numbers after the preorder are wondering where their knife is.

I'm kinda curious as to how people that did not get in on the preorder have lower order numbers? Maybe he just lumps all the configurations together?

?????

I placed two pre-orders:

November 7, 2012 - order #213
(2 M390/Terotuf w/ black sheaths)

November 17, 2012 - order #350
(2 M390/Terotuf w/o sheaths)

How is an order in March #257?

It would be nice if Guy chimed in here about the confusion on the orders. They certainly aren't following a numerical order which makes me uncomfortable.

He said the knives are 60% shipped which makes me even more nervous about my order since I ordered on the first day the pre-order opened.

We are just trying to tie order numbers to shipping notices. There may not be a 1 to 1 correlation that we have all been assuming. I was never worried. Didn't have reason to be and once the other 40 percent are shipped and you for some reason didn't get your knife, then I would simply contact Guy.

I'm wiling to bet there are order numbers for the preorder and order numbers for after the preorder. It's also possible that once his new website was up and running, it had new order numbers (I didn't order until after his updated web site went live). He said he's 60% through, but he didn't specify if that's 60% of the preorders shipped, or 60% total shipped. I'm willing to bet it's 60% of the preorders shipped. I'll just have to wait longer than most of y'all, which is fine by me. I'm not moving until May.

Hi Guys, I would like to know how I can order a additional set of handle scales in camo color. I did't receive my GSO 4.1 yet. But I'd see that the camo color looks great on your knives! I ordered my GSO in the natural micarta color which also looks great but not that cool as the camo one. thanks

There is no confusion on these orders. Some are shipped and some are still pending their matching sheaths so they will be shipped shortly. Guy can either

1. work on the knives or

2. answer questions on the computer

Let's leave him alone so he can do what we all want him to do, which is work on the knives. Guy is an honorable man and will take care of us all with a tremendous knife for a great price.

Not sure if you are one of Guy's close buddies or not but people that are upset at the time-table of the GSO-4.1 have every right to be. You left out option 3 which is to stop worrying about your upcoming preorders and get busy on filling your present ones. I got my knife on friday and while it is a very nice knife, I was expecting more. It was tempered by being several months late and then coming with a slightly rounded tip and not nearly as-sharp-as expected finish. The people that want to come on here to defend Guy and how he handled the GSO-4.1 preorder, fine, that is what a forum like this is for. Just don't get mad when others that think that it was handled very poorly try to express their feelings here as well.

BTW, as far as leaving Guy alone... I can't speak for anyone else but I never bugged Guy via phone nor email so as far as I'm concerned he had plenty of time to work on the knives that were promised months ago.

I am not here to start an argument and I don't have any anger. I never met Guy but I consider him an honorable man. He is giving us a tremendous knife for a great price and I am very thankful. I knew this was a pre-order when I submitted my order and my oldest son returned to Iraq without his Christmas present, so I could be angry but I'm not. Guy is a one man operation and he has done the best he can do. He explained he received more pre-orders than he anticipated but he is doing the best he can and I am thankful for it. I am a working man and this pre-order enabled me to get both of my sons a fine knife at a price I could afford. I am not about to complain because this took longer than expected. Guy will take care of us and you should contact him directly instead of complaining to the knife community about an issue with your knife.

Got mine today after a mix up with the shipping address (I've moved since I put in the pre-order), can't remember my pre-order number but it was in the 40's no sheath. came shaving sharp, I'm very happy with the ergonomics and aesthetics.
