Pond Scum goodness...

Thanks everyone! I wouldn't have found it without your help, and the suggestion to put a wtb in my signature. Now just the long shipment from California to Ohio:)

I doubt I'd ever end up with a pond scum, so I've ordered a translucent green one from Rick.

Kowan, Trans Green (a personal favorite) is a GREAT scale IMO - Love it and "If" it ever becomes "unavailable" will quickly become the Pond Scum of our age :)

HaHa I am a realist about my powers of persuasion (orders may drop)

I do really like the trans green scale, clean looking as you pointed out AND it is very conducive to accessory flexibility (blue, bronze, copper,etc) ALL look good with it.
I believe it is my favorite G10 scale.
 
The translucent green is going to replace the flat dark earth the knife came with.
It already had bronze standoffs I added. Today it got blinged out with a bronze Steel Flame Crusader Cross clip, bronze Skull filler tab, and bronze Crusader Cross handle nut.
My other two XMs got some major love too. :)

Rob threw in some unexpected swag too.

Trans green is unlike Pond Scum in one very obvious way...the material for the Scum is no more but the TG G10 is.
 
I have been wanting a Trans Green scale for a while. But now especially that I have all of the blue ti hardware. I should just sell my dark green and buy the trans...

Jensen, If I can get lucky enough to snag one, I'm sure you'll get one eventually. You've been here waaay longer than I have:)

Also, I know that the material is gone, but if it could be made once, why can't it be made again? Even if it was created accidentally, it is an unusually good looking color combination. I guess it pretty fun to hunt around for rare items. Especially once you succeed in finding what you're after.
