Possible problem with Cburgerjr

Eventually this will all start showing up on GOOGLE whenever someone conducts a name search. I would think employers and prospctive employers might not appreciate seeing their employee's name attached to words like thief, scammer, crook.

All over a few bucks.................
"A few bucks"? i bet your tune would change if it were your few bucks!
It seems like there were more than 2 getting run by this guy. He made deals while he was already over his head in other deals gone sour. Bad business if you ask me

I think Wolf was saying not that it wasn't a big deal for those who got ripped off, more so that why would someone put their reputation into the toilet over a few bucks.

First of all, I never used his name or posted his phone number. So if you search google, his name, number and address do not show up. If they search his username they will find this, but that's really the only way. The email account seems deactivated anyway. Do you really think he's going to put down a bladeforums membership as a reference for jobs?
Second, it's not your property at loss here. I traded my custom died JYD2 {my first Kershaw I ever bought} for that {benchmade}, and the knives I was offered where ones I had been wanting for a while {red blur and od-1 orange}. Now I'm out a benchmade warn that probably retails for 120 USD in its condition. A few bucks? Hardly when that's almost half my paycheck.

I think the question is why are you being coy? What possible reason could you have for protecting this guy?

I'm stating a counter-point, not protecting Cburger; not once did I condone what he did. Coy? You want me to spill the beans, well here you go. I got a text from his wife {supposedly} saying he's in the hospital. If he's actually in the hospital, while he did completely drop the ball and now I'm out a knife, I'm still one to give a benefit of the doubt. Also, I don't think we need two threads posting this guy's details. I'm still sending texts trying to work this out. Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed, but I trying to handle myself in a way that will not be considered harassing or slanderous. The hospital stuff is more than likely BS, but what's done is done at this point.

I feel for you man. I would have completely lost it by now. His story with me was "I lost my job". I'm calling BS on the hospital story. I hate to see you lose out!
PM me your address if you need an EDC. I'm sure I have an extra I could spare.

Exactlty!!!!, it is not the actual dollars and cents amount, just the thought that anyone would kick their reputation to the sewer for any amount of money, let alone amounts in less than trillions!!!!!!

Scamming someone for $100 would benefit me financially, it would however kill my integrity, reputation, and honesty in my name. Having someone google my name and have thief attached to it would truly devastate me beyond dollars and cents.

CaveJohnson, you are a better man than me. I don't think i would have your patience and understanding at this point. Kudos to you.
