Post up your 4-5" Bushcraft blades

Marcelo, what is that knife next to last on the right side. That thing is awesome looking.

That's a Blind Horse Knives Scaatycrafter. It was a design by my friend Scaatylobo from KF after exeriencing their original BHK Bushcrafter. The first one was a some mirror polished premium steel and had a larger ricasso area. I think mine may be the second one made after I asked them to make me one with a shorter ricasso.

I honestly think the guys at BHK, L.T & Dan are in this business for the love of it. They are open to ideas and opinions, They both are knife users, hunters, avid woodsmen, woodsbums and generally fun-loving gents. Everyknife I have or have had from them are users that really perform. This one is made from 4140 carbon steel.

Will,
One day we should lend each other our whole collections! ;) just messing but I'm always ogling your blades to man.

An other take on the Kephart.

Hey Dave, That knife knife 3rd from the left looks familiar. It came out great, how do you like it?
I notice that Brian Goode Bushy looks like it is getting some use as well. Good stuff bro!

Thanks Tony. Lol, yes it did turn out very nice. It's quite a bit larger and fits my hands great. The blade is just shy of 4" and the scales are right at 5". I just got it Thurs and been swamped. Was going to try to get an outside shot to send you. Yeah, I've used the BG too. I've been working the edge on a 6000 water stone. The sheath from Chuddybear is awesome. Has 2 magnets to help with retention and a metal belt clip not shown. Very nice quality.

How you liking that BRKT Kephart? I got one coming and can't stand the wait. From everything I've read they are all day workers with super comfortable grips.

That is a good way of describing it!
The convex on mine is not only sharp, but of a narrower angle I believe due to the relative thickness, providing excellent bite. The grip is outstanding. I love the design of it: not too wide, not too narrow, very solid in the hand and a wonderful spear point. This one is a keeper for sure!

Okay, I firmly believe that keppies should be kept simple and cheap, but.... holy crap. Who made that? I know the photo is particularly well done, but the knife is just.... sweeeeeeet.

Per Switchblade61-"It was made by a Hungarian knife maker who lives in the Slovak Republic. He is known as Matifu and the knife is called Woodlander."

And, I agree, that's a good-lookin' knife:thumbup:

Holy cow! You guys sure know how to make a man spend his money. Lol. I suddenly have the itch to go an get mine and start carving wood. You guys have some beauties. Keep it up.

Yeah, I remember asking about it the first time I saw it:D

What is that fourth one from the left?

Marion

Marcelo is correct, Gene made it for me several years ago. The wood was left over from what my Grandpa used to make gun stocks from.

mtnfolk mike, Thanks! They're all because of you guys... :D I see all of the great pic's and can't resist. :o :p

Love this thread BTW! I see some real beauties.
