Here is a another one that I recently picked up. This one is made by Les Voorhies. Most people know Les for his amazing folders. He doesn't really advertise them, but he makes great fixed blades as well. I was able to trade with Les for this little beauty.

It is flat ground 3/16" A2 steel. It has a matte stone washed finish which really looks perfect with the carbon fiber scales. The scales are .300" thick so they really fill the hand well. The little scallops on the scales allow for the "chest lever" grip and also make a great little thumb rest for when you are using the "hammer" grip.
 
Yes it is convex. It cuts like a laser (as do all of Ray's knives).

I think towards the end of this year I'm going to have to have Ray do a knife or two for me, I've not sampled his work yet sadly! I'll of course have to sweet talk him into proper handle curves. ;)

reprofiled it and gave it a leather sheath and it's good to go!
(the sheath it came with, was pretty much garbage)
