Muskrat man and the handles are made from some hemp canvas I sent to Shadetree and he put glow powder in it.
The design of the knife is nice but the edge is a little too soft.

Here is a another one that I recently picked up. This one is made by Les Voorhies. Most people know Les for his amazing folders. He doesn't really advertise them, but he makes great fixed blades as well. I was able to trade with Les for this little beauty.
It is flat ground 3/16" A2 steel. It has a matte stone washed finish which really looks perfect with the carbon fiber scales. The scales are .300" thick so they really fill the hand well. The little scallops on the scales allow for the "chest lever" grip and also make a great little thumb rest for when you are using the "hammer" grip.

Yes it is convex. It cuts like a laser (as do all of Ray's knives).

I think towards the end of this year I'm going to have to have Ray do a knife or two for me, I've not sampled his work yet sadly! I'll of course have to sweet talk him into proper handle curves.

Thanks. Fiddleback makes a great blade! The Max is a Devil Dog with an aftermarket strap, a discontinued model. Good pack, IMO.

If they work in bushcraft related tasks, then IMO they are true bushcraft blades :thumbup:None of these are true bushcraft blades...

This is one of my woods bumming blades..
reprofiled it and gave it a leather sheath and it's good to go!
(the sheath it came with, was pretty much garbage)
