have been wanting this little knife for some time, got a little b'day $ and figured it was time
put it on my small scale and the weight is exactly 2.7 oz (3.8 oz w/ the sheath), that's a lot of knife for that weight; like all BRKT knives I've owned the fit/finish is excellent and it comes hair popping sharp out of the box; the spine is nice and sharp as well and am sure will throw showers of sparks
the knife feels much bigger in hand than it's small size would belie, I've had a lot of small knives (the vast majority of my knives) and they always feel small in the hand- a compromise I've been willing to accept, now I don't have to

Don't forget that you can also use this to make your own lead head jigs. I still have molds and I used to make tons of them years back. I used vinyl jig paint on them. I used to go through so many jigs in a river that I bought rubber tails by the one pound bag. I got free used wheel weights to melt down from a tire shop.

for the curious, the 4 corners and ridge-line are reinforced with 1000d cordura...from my experience with the supertarp, i think this is over-kill though.
also the two in the center/ridge-line are also reinforced so you can put a trekking pole or stick against it to prop it up...this feature i like so it can standup to snow load better.
