Here is my new favorite. Stripped, reshaped handle and thumb grooves. I love it.

TAGannon I think your really starting to like the becker side.......

So the BK2 is your favorite knife?
Its a good one to have.

Yes, I like the trio. Some of the pictures in this thread would make a nice calendar, I swear.

Was out hunting today and seeing no shootable game so I decided it was time to play with my BK2. I was out gathering some oak for Ethan's March challenge and I saw this fallen tree. It's been down for at least 4-5 years (maybe longer) and given the look of the wood, I think it's oak and I know for a fact it's seasoned.

Don't know what came over me but I decided to chop through it with my BK2. Here we go - part of the way through...

do I need to re sand the knife in order to patina the blade with mustard or vinegar? or can i do that at anytime?

Who makes these 2 large choppers to the right?!

BeckersOlder.jpg

see the FAQ :)

right to left: All Beckers of course

+ Reinhardt Khukri - made by Blackjack - a long time ago now, one epoxy coat, one beadblast

+ Magnum Camps - Original Blackjacks, the hole is for the pinlock sheath

+ Machax Warrior - they say 25-50 made total by Blackjack, hard chrome!

+ Early version of the Tac Tool - these are DivTuls also Blackjack

+ BK2s of course also Blackjack, these look like the epoxy steriles

+ and of cousre, a Blackjack Brute

important to note most of these old ones are naked from the factory. some bead blasted, some hard-chromed.

TROGDOR!
