I have a second BK5 coming, so what to do with the first?
Finally found some time to strip it today. Added new scales and have a leather sheath coming. I may polish it at some point...

2nd day at the local swimming hole, cleaning out alot of snags preventing the hole from getting flushed. Used the BK4 to take care of the last one laying across the stream. Sorry, no knife pic, kinda hard swinging away in the water with the current at your legs. I put the phone away after the first dunk. Take a look at the 2nd photo and tell me what you see, don't look at the 3rd one till you try.
Yesterday, after clearing away alot of the snags, I started trying to clean some debris in the swimming hole, and found this. Came back today, made a big forked tool branch with the BK4, and tried pulling the deer out. Ewwwww, to say the least, got the (what I think is the back end/ rear legs ) above the water line, unfortunately the head front end is stuck good, couldn't get it out. Man, what a smell when it breached the surface. Kids were swimming in here the last 2 days, Eww again, alot easier to see now though, no pictrue of afterwards. Thought this would be interesting, been taking alot of showers.
