Finally got the 9 today and swapped scales on it and the 7. I am really hoping to have some time this weekend to get out and put them to work.

Not yet. The factory edges are pretty toothy/sharp and plenty good enough for me to start using. I have a bad habit of over sharpening knives. I’m trying to ween myself and not be so obsessive! Hahahaha!
