This weekend I stripped and hand filed a BK2 for my boys 18th birthday present. It's a long term project. He's only 2years old now ;) So I have a few more years to make him a leather sheath.

That looks GREAT! Gotta step my game up ;P Slowly but surely!

Got my second pair of scales finished up today. Loving the way this wood looks, but it's hard as hell and a pain to work with, so the grip is a little too chunky still. I'll probably end up slowly working it down and refinishing every once in a while over time, and I'll get some better shots with my real camera tomorrow. The cell phone doesn't quite do things justice...

Alright, real photo time! I'm still working on the finish for the scales on the knife, and the exported jpg files are a bit more red than in reality, but man do I love this wood! They've been a fun project, and one that I'll keep being able to work on over time 8)
