If you're referring to my pic, that's a surplus Belgian fire brigade axe I got several years ago from the Sportsmans Guide.

Every time I fondled, I had the urge to use one. Finally, I caved.
I'm going to make a neck sheath and carry it. Great little knife with a cool history to boot.

Welcome to Ethan Becker! I know we all look forward to learing a lot from him.

Let's show our support by posting the pics of the knives we've come to love over the years.

Here's mine -

Oooh yes it sure is.

Actually it inspires me to try a BK&T handle project.

I just bought a bk2 and bk9 and I love these knives!
I thought the handles were slippery so I used camoform wrap to have more grip and some shock absorption. (great stuff!!) I also decided that the bk13 that came wit the bk9 was great to use with a firesteel so I made a separate kydex sheath for it to attach to my bk2 sheath. (I wish the new bk9 had the old sheath)

Guess I should throw mine in:
Nice collection!
which do you prefer the standard USMC or the BK-7 for allround

Camoform wrap? Is that some kind of tape? I'll try googling it.
Yeah it some sort of bandage that will only stick to itself. It is elastic and feels like textured rubber (again I love it)
You can get it cheap on fleebay
