OK so I bought a BK2 and won a couple of contests.
1. a sheath from derek made by MWTIC.
2. the death dagger.

I decided to stap some pics. The sheath was great, but it was set up for right side horizontal carry. I have always worn my knife cross draw and talking to MWTIC he said all I had to do was unscrew the straps and flip them. So I did that this afternoon and it worked like a charm. I can now use the great leather sheath horizontal on my left side.

it also turned out there was enough space between the holding strap a sheath that I could slide a firesteel ( don't think it was planned that way but it works).

here is s shot off my belt, you can see the firesteel slid securely under the strap

It is very well made and there is an audibly click when it slides into place and has great retention

haven't had time to do anything with the dagger but took some pics of it next to m BK2.

Did some pre (or is it post?) season deer scouting yesterday. Glad I had my BK9 with me - did some trail clearing along the way. Not sure what killed this buck but the coyotes / rodents have been doing a fine job cleaning him up...

I'd probably put enough lanyard on the firesteel to catch that bottom leather strap. Just a little insurance against loss.
