he sent this gem. I like it very much, and can see how the choil is useful for this design.
Due to the nature of me being dad around here, I don't get material Christmas gifts (hugs and food are good enough for me). This is the first gift I got this past year, and it is a doozy. I love it.
Thanks again friend. I plan to put some time in with this thing and see how she does.

I can understand it though. Now that I was graciously gifted a BK5, it feels like one of those designs that likes to cut stuff, but not necessarily bash through wood.
It's pretty awesome on food, and I bet works great on snap cuts or light brush clearing.

Just received this BK7 today brand new in box for less than a C-note. Leather sheath on the way and can’t decide between Oak or Walnut scales. Came super sharp. Now to beat the coating off it and give it a nice patina.
