new knife day (to me) and back in the club! had a large micarta for a bit, wasn't going to work for the always on me knife i wanted from the one CRK i can presently afford. Just a bit too heavy, small seb just a little too short, i'm sure it's a notion that most of you have had at one point or another. This is goldilocks for me. 3.5 oz spread over a long length, feels like nothing. handle is absolutely stuffed to the gills with S35vn. i remember that from my micarta, but it's still striking. couldn't be happier with the all-around. Will start looking at niche roles for other CRKs when i can, I can see this one converting me for good, we'll see.

Been busy with the orthopedic surgeon, they want to do a fusion in my neck and another arthroscopic shoulder surgery th I pinch the nerves makin’ me lose the strength in my hands and get rid of the numbness. I’m just tired of surgeries, I shouldn’t complain I know many folks here who’ve been in accidents and had 20-30 operations, so I always think it could be worse.

As for cathin’ up? I never get caught up, I just take little breathers when the insanity starts gettin’ to me.

When it rains, the biker gets wet. I’d kill to be ridin’. Been ridin’ bikes since I was a kid 5 y/o and I had rod mini bike wit a bored out techumse 2 stroke 7 1/2 hp motor the size and weight of a 1 1/2 ho motor. Only kid with a 50 mph bike, got my first real bike at 8. My feet barely touched the ground.

With 5 shoulder surgeries between 2 shoulders and two doctors who won’t release me to ride , I’m goin’ crazy. It’s been 3 years since I’ve ridden after 40 some years in the saddle.

Part of that ride was about a 30-mile stretch of dirt and gravel just south of Pikes Peak. I could see the rain in the distance but entered anyway figuring it would pass quickly. I was wrong, very wrong.

Been readin’ that magazine since the late 70s when I got my legal MC license. Got it before my automobile license. I had to pay twice, the first license was the MC and because I had the MC first when I passed my drivers test for auto 6 months later I was told there were no auto endorsements for MC licenses but there were MC endorsements for automobile licenses, suckers got you comin’ and goin’.

Bet I woulda carried a Sebenza back then, if they were out back then, I woulda carried a 25 like the one I carry today.

I always liked the way these looked, if there was a knife I would own just because I wanted one, it would this one. It ticks most of the boxes for me but I could never see it replacing my Sebenza. Then again I've never used another CRK knife. The Ti-Lock would most likely see light use compared to the Sebenza and sit on the nightstand more than in my pocket.

I just love the look, the more I think about it, within a month the the ano would be worn off the thumb stud and the blue ano scuffed up on the springbar. I don't own a single knife no matter how expensive, rare or unique that doesn't see pocket time and the Ti-Lock would be no exception. Anyone have any pics of a well worn/used Ti-Lock?

I also carry the small plain Jane 21, my first Sebenza pretty much every day I kinda take it for granted because I always have it in the sheath in my back pocket, even when the other one's on the table or not within reach I can always count on this little 21.
