Post your firearms collection!

Well so no one else will waste their time I can say this stuff doesn't help. Oh damn, not for internal use, what's up with that? I'm sure the mods are bombarded with suggestions so no need to dwell on that.

I do enjoy a good cyber fisticuff from time to time but this is truly getting old and boring.

I wish I could find the picture of my old bb gun. Looked like a Glock, had "realistic" blowback action when fired and was a bit more accurate and much more aestheticly pleasing than my current C41.

Bawanna if your posts keep cracking me up or showing shiny things you may earn yourself a new stalker. Don't worry though I'm the happy type not creepy type.

Please, folks, do not post your date of birth in these discussions. It makes you vulnerable to identity thieves who piece together bits of information about a person from different sources until they have enough to use for nefarious purposes. They might find DOB from one posting, social security number elsewhere, maybe an address or phone number, a credit card number, and then they're buying stuff in your name, or even emptying your bank account.

Even an email address can give you problems with spam. I recently bought a few items from an online auction site whose name I will not mention. When you buy something, that site makes your email address available to the seller, whose computer might be compromised. A couple of days after my purchase, the daily volume of spam that I was receiving increased enormously and has continued to increase to the point where it is an annoyance even to check my spam mailbox (where there is an occasional real item).

As a rule, there is no security with emails (unless you encrypt them, but that's a pain unless your recipients have the decryption software), but posting personal information on public forums is a much greater exposure even than an email.

If this seems off-topic it's because an earlier posting in this thread contained personal info. Maybe it was wrong info, which is one way of foiling the identity thieves. :)

Well I thought this was supposed to be a firearms thread not a argument/troll feeding... anyway when I get off work on Monday morning I will get us back on topic with the pics that Shavru asked for.

Glad I missed all of that. Philll's method of forcing patina is probably the best I've seen so far short of a ferric chloride etch. Try it out!

I'm definitely going to. How do I clean the generous coat of oil I put on it after noticing a bit of what I am thinking was rust since the blade had been cleaned of the smelly oil it came with. I put it in the sheath for a couple hours and when I removed it there were a few spots with reddish dust. Oiling a blade constantly is going to be annoying when I'm camping and using it all the time.

So, my brothers in arms, what's your firearms collection look like?
Post pictures of your firearms collection :)

Seems as if the last several pages have been largely devoid of responsive posts, so I'll throw these oldsters out for entertainment:

Ditto, lets get this thread back on track :)

Here are some of mine, all residing in Australia :)

beautiful collection morgo :O !!!!!!!!, and thanks berkley for classing up the joint with your too fine antiques. :D

Yes thats some very welcome entertainment Berkley. Those are beautiful pieces and also thanks for the more modern ones Morgo. Dang a glock 9mm mag with 28 round mag:eek: Didnt know they existed? Pardon my ignorance but what is that revolver on the left bottom? Thats very nice looking! Love the wood!

Now there are a couple of nice collections of totally different views. Love all the Pietros Morgo. One of my favorite guns but don't have any currently. And all those classy classics of Berkley's are beautiful. I love the pistol stocks. Used to be my favorites but can't have em here. They get classified as a SBR and those are a no-no here.

Please pardon my ignorance again but what is sbr? Single ____ revolver?? We used to have to take a specific test for single action revolver or semi auto in texas for a CHL license but i think there are changing that and lumping it all together for both. They also recently reduced the mandatory 11 hour course to about half of that. Are you saying yall cant carry a concealed revolver at all?

Now we're talking. Thems some lovey BP Revolvers, very sweet.

And then High Powers, and all them cool, love the pair of Smith 41's. I have one and it's just the sweetest shooter, makes me look good on my worst days.

Kind of tough to have all them beauties in Australia isn't it? Lots of hoops to jump through?.

Looks like a Python to me. Love the 686 too. Pile of very sweet stuff there for sure.
